Administrative Sanctions Procedure

Definition

The environmental administrative sanctioning procedure is composed of a series of actions that aim at investigating the possible commission of an administrative violation caused by lack of compliance with an environmental obligation.

If, within the framework of such a procedure the party concerned is held responsible, the appropriate sanctions and corrective measures may be applied.
